Monday Katzelkraft day.. Maandag Katzelkraft dag....

Hello Katzelkraft lovers,

Yes, it’s Monday, and I’m back from the CHA, tired but completely satisfied. It was great to be there and…the vacation has also been wonderful.
First I’ve made some tags, one stamp and different techniques and colors.
I like it to experiment with the stamps..
1) Stamp and color in one color, spray a little bit of water when you’re finished.

1) Stamp with a matte medium and color with glimmermist.

1) Color the stamp with crayon, spray a little bit of water on it and stamp on paper.

1) Stamp with watermark ink, heat emboss and color in one color. Put little drops of lemon juice on your work and heat (long) until you see that it’s turning brown.

The CHA was great, it was so big and overwhelming, there’s only one deception, I could not buy anything…L .. and there are so many new things that I’d love to have!!!

Ja het is maandag, en ik ben terug van de CHA, moe maar heel voldaan. Het was groots om daar te zijn en….de vakantie was geweldig. Ik heb wat tags gemaakt, een stempel en verschillende technieken en kleuren. Ik hou van wat experimentjes

1) Stempel en kleur in een kleur, spuit een klein beetje water eroverheen als je klaar bent.
2) Stempel met matte medium en kleur met glimmermist.
3) Kleur de stempel met potlood, spuit er wat water op en stempel op papier.
4) Stempel met versa mark, emboss en kleur met een kleur.
Laat er wat citroensapdruppels opvallen en verhit (lang) met de heattool tot het bruin verkleurd.

Hello Unity lovers,

It’s Hip Hop day….and today I have something very special for you: the new release from Phyllis Harris..Ohhh I like these girlish stamps.

Hope that Phyllis will make a lot more of these stamps!!! They are so YUMMIE!!

With the first stamp I made a little envelope, it’s nice for Valentine’s Day.

And this one is in one color, I love the simple look.

And finally I met Angela, it was so great to see her, to speak to her and look her in the eyes.

It’s funny, because we e-mail a lot with each other, but it was better to really meet here

And a photo with Tim!!!!!

The CHA was great, it was so big and overwhelming, there’s only one deception, I could not buy anything…L .. and there are so many new things that I’d love to have!!! Did you see all the new stamps from Unity?? …talking about Yummie, this is real YUMMIE click here and take a look at the new stamps from Unity.

Het is Hip Hop dag…en vandaag heb ik iets speciaals voor je: de nieuwe stempels van Phyllis Harris!!!…Ohh ik hou van deze meisjes stempels. Ik hoop dat Phyllis nog veel stempels gaat maken voor Unity!!!! Ze zijn zo YUMMIE!! Met de eerste stempel heb ik een envelopje gemaakt, is leuk voor Valentijnsdag. En deze is in één kleur, ik hou van de simpele uitstraling. En eindelijk heb ik Angela ontmoet op de CHA, het was zo geweldig om haar te zien, met haar te praten en in de ogen te kunnen kijken. Het is zo grappig, we mailen vaak met elkaar, maar het is veel leuker haar in het echt te ontmoeten. De CHA was groots, het is zo groot en overweldigend met maar een deceptie, ik kon niets kopen…  en er zijn zoveel leuke nieuwe dingen die ik graag had willen meenemen!!! Maar heb je de nieuwe stempels van Unity al gezien??? …als je dan praat over Yummie, dit is echt Yummie klik hier en neem een kijkje bij de nieuwste stempels van Unity.

En neem nu een kijkje op het volgende blog, het is van Jessica, zij maakt zulke mooie dingen.

Hello,

I am just back from the USA....it was great, I saw so much, met so many people,
and the CHA was a wonderful experiance!!!
I feel just like this cat...little bit dizzy and a big jetlag (that isn't strange, as I am up for almost 36 hours now :).
After I posted this...I am going to bed .. sleep for a couple of hours..

Net terug uit de USA...het was geweldig, heb heel veel gezien en veel mensen ontmoet.

En de CHA was een geweldige ervaring!!!

Ik voel me net zo als deze kat...een beetje dizzy en een dijk van een jet-lag

( is niet zo vreemd, ben nu ongeveer 36 uur wakker :)

Als dit geplaatst is duik ik even lekker mijn bed in voor een paar uurtjes slaap!!

So for the last week we, the Unity DT, are going to show you some

Pinterest Inspired projects.. I chose the happily, ever, after picture

and made a card with the January KOTM.

If you take a good look you’ll see that the paper I used is the package from Unity stamps!!!!

I sticked to the same colors with this tag!!

I used my most favorite Ittybitty ever!!!

And I made a LO with the SMAK of December and January

Goodmorning Katzelkraft lovers!!

Here I am again with, of course, a tag with Katzelkraft stamps!!!

For today I used the normal tags, the brown ones ….

most of the time I don’t know what to do with these tags.

I have a lot of these tags…so spinning and thinking

what to do with these brown tags and Eureka!!

I painted them with a brush with gesso, mixed with a lot of water.

I stamped the tree and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

Hier ben ik weer en natuurlijk met een tag met Katzelkraft stempels.

Voor vandaag heb ik gebruik gemaakt van een gewone bruine tag.

Meestal laat ik deze links liggen, weet niet echt goed wat er mee te doen.

Maar ik heb er zoveel....dus spinnend op iets...denken en EUREKA!!!

Ik heb ze geschilderd met gesso, heel erg verdund met water!!

Daarna de boom erop gestempeld en geembossed met clear embossing poeder!

For today I made a card ‘destination’. I used the technique with ink and water on the craftsheet.

Stamp the flowers with a solvent ink and bleach it with chlorine.

My destination is the CHA in America…so my next Katzelkraft message is from there!!

Workshop at Scrapdelight!!... Workshop bij Scrapdelight!!

This was the last workshop I taught last night at Scrap Delight, the last one of three in total.

It’s so nice to see and hear that everyone’s so happy ... that happy, that they all asked for a new workshop they wanted to sign up for; that was cool .... it gave me a wonderful feeling!

Heerlijk om te zien en te horen dat iedereen heel tevreden was...zo tevreden dat ze allemaal een nieuwe workshop wilde boeken....gaaf was dat, gaf mij een heerlijk gevoel!!!

For today I made a card especially for a man… Let’s be honest, are cars important to women? …for me it’s just a way to travel from point A to point B. But I know that some men like to talk about cars as most important in their lives….and I am certainly a person who knows… I work in a male environment …

And for one of them I made this card!!

Januari is tenslotte al een eind op weg!!

Voor vandaag heb ik een kaart gemaakt speciaal voor een man…en laten we eerlijk zijn, zijn auto’s zo belangrijk voor vrouwen…voor mij is het alleen maar belangrijk om van A naar B te komen. Maar ik weet dat mannen over auto’s praten alsof het het meest belangrijke is in hun leven…en ik kan het weten, ik werk tenslotte in een mannenmaatschappij!! En voor één van hen heb ik deze kaart gemaakt!!

It’s Thursday!!!! Blog hop day!!! For the last time this year….

For today I made a layout with patterned paper, a stamp (itty bitty) and no photo!! I like the way it turned out. The frame is from Prima Marketing and perfect for the size of a layout.. It’s for a friend of mine, she is completely mad about pink!!! So I made this for her living room..hope she likes it!!

Voor vandaag heb ik een layout gemaakt met design papier,

een stempel (itty bitty) en geen foto!! Ik vind hem prachtig!!

De lijst is van Prima Marketing en perfect voor een LO formaat.

Heb het gemaakt voor een vriendin van me, ze is helemaal weg van róse!!

Heb deze dus gemaakt voor haar woonkamer…

hoop dat ze het leuk vindt!!

Goedemorgen stempel liefhebbers!!

For today I made a card especially for my grandchild..

Ink the stamp of the two cats with blue StazOn

and place a curl on it with white ink ( the kiss method).

Stamp it on the paper and heat emboss.

Voor vandaag heb ik speciaal een kaart gemaakt voor mijn kleindochter,

Ik heb de stempel van de twee katten be-inkt met blauwe StazOn

en daarop een krul met witte inkt geplaatst ( de zogenaamde kusmethode).

Stempel op papier en heat emboss.

On the backside I stamped my new stamp…

‘stamped especially for you by Jolande’.. I like that stamp.

Afgelopen vrijdag heb ik een basis workshop stempelen gegeven bij

ScrapDelight.

Omdat we optijd klaar waren had ik onderstaande kaart als kado'tje en...

de resultaten waren prachtig!!

We hebben gewerkt met water, chloor, verf, gesso, citroensap,

embossingpoeder en natuurlijk inkt!!

We all make samples for you…and I made one card with one of my favorite flower stamps (Donna Downey). So I start with this one…isn’t it a beauty!!

My granddaughter liked it so much, I gave it to her!

Goodmorning KK lovers,

For today a christmas card..

Stamp the tree with StazOn and heat emboss.

Color the card with a light blue and brown dye ink. Stamp a ice christal in the same color.

Place the sentiment ...and, another christmas card is ready for mailing!!!

Voor vandaag een Kerstkaart..

stempel de boom met StazOn en heat emboss.

Kleur de kaart met lichtblauw en bruine dye inkt. Stempel een ijskristal in de hoek met dezelfde kleur

Plaats het etiket met de tekst en klaar is de kerstkaart..

Yesterday, I gave a workshop at Scrapdelight. A candy box that was pimped with various stamping and ink techniques. It was a fantastic group, we had a lot of fun.The end results where fantastic!

Just some pages from my feel-good book.

I started this book in 2008, just before I went on deployment to Afghanistan.

I just wanted to take something beautiful, something I could seperate myself with.

For this you would take a smash book nowadays,

but we did't have them back then.

Zomaar wat pagina's uit mijn feel good boek.

Ik ben begonnen met dit boek in 2008 vlak voor ik op uitzending ging naar Afghanistan.

Wilde gewoon iets moois meenemen, iets waar ik me in terug kon trekken.

Nu zou je daar een smash book voor nemen maar die hadden we toen nog niet.

How to : First diecut the flower and the butterfly.

Stamp the images with StazOn and color the flower with a dye ink.

Do the same with the butterfly.

Put the flower together with a brad and adhere the butterfly with a glue dot.

Hoe te maken: Stans de bloemen en de vlinder uit.(beide spellbinder).

Stempel de afbeeldingen met StazOn en kleur de bloem met dye ink.

Doe hetzelfde met de vlinder.

Bevestig de bloemen aan elkaar met een brad en plak de vlinder erop met een gluedot.

Hello regular visitors to my blog,

Previously I received many comments on my background ... too dark, difficult to read, etc. ....
So I decided to change the lay-out of my blog, and I succeeded.
I am even very happy about it, it looks great ...... but it also had a consequence.
I could no longer post pictures, had to make a clean sweep in the photo file. I did that, just got everything off! Auch, there were no pictures left.
With a lot of difficulty I replaced the photographs of the last posts,
but the majority is lost.
I'll just start again ..... with good hope,to start off I am showing you today the LO where my adventure with Unity began!

Hallo regelmatige bezoekers van mijn blog,

Ik kreeg veel commentaar op mijn achtergrond...te donker,
moeilijk te lezen etc.....dus maar aan de slag gegaan om een nieuwe Lay Out te ontwerpen voor mijn blog, en dat is gelukt, ik ben er zelfs erg tevreden over maar......het had ook een consequentie. Ik kon geen foto's meer plaatsen, moest eerst opruiming houden in het fotobestand. Dat is niet tegen dovenmansoren gezegd, ik haal gewoon alles weg....Ai...toen had ik geen foto's meer staan op mijn blog. Met moeite heb ik de foto's van de laatste stukjes kunnen herplaatsen maar het merendeel is verloren gegaan..

Ik begin gewoon opnieuw vol goede moed.....maar niet zonder jullie de LO te laten zien waar het Unity avontuur mee begon!!

Dit was de LO waar ik de wedstrijd van Unity mee gewonnen heb...en heel eerlijk ik ben er nog steeds apentrots op...

This was the first one I submitted, I still like this one the most ... but Unity’s choice fell on Maud.

Well ... it's all gone ... and I might post some old creations, don’t know yet..

The blog is really empty at the moment, but.I am going to fill it again…that’s for sure!!

Good morning, It’s Thursday so….Unity bloghop day!!!

It’s the first day of December already, but I will show you some cards with the Kit of the Month from November. It’s such a gorgeous one and you could make such beautiful things with it.

Het is alweer de eerste dag van December, maar ik wil jullie toch nog een aantal kaarten laten zien met de Kit van de maand November. Het is zo’n mooie kit en je kunt er zulke mooie kaarten mee maken.

December is a busy month so I’ve made my Christmas cards and tags already. You don’t need much to make a lovely tag, it always makes a present more special. Here you can see that you could use the snowman for a serious Christmas card also.

December is een drukke maand, zodoende heb ik al een aantal kaarten en tags gemaakt voor Kerstmis. Je hebt niet zo heel veel nodig om een leuke tag te maken en het maakt je kado altijd specialer. En je ziet je kunt zelfs een serieuze kaart maken met deze sneeuwman.

Unity Ippity day!!!

Hi there,

Jolande here, this time to show you some cards I made with the Ippity stamps.

This one is made with the stamps "Thanks for all things".

Stamp the flowers with versamark and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.

Dab three colors Distress ink on the craftsheet, spray some water on it and color the card.

Stamp the tree with StazOn and whiten the leaves with chlorine.

Stamp the sentiment on a separate piece of paper, and color it brown.

Adhere it to the card and mat everything on brown cardstock.

Stempel de bloemen met versamark en emboss met clear embossing poeder.

Plaats drie kleuren Distress ink op je craftsheet, spuit er wat waer overheen en kleur de kaart.

Stempel de boom met StazOn en maak de blaadjes wit met chloor.

Stempel de tekst op een apart stukje papier en kleur het bruin.

Bevestig alles op de kaart en mat het op bruin cardstock.

This card is made with the stamps "Make your mark". Stamp the chickenwire with versamark and heat emboss. Color the card with Distressink and stamp the leaves and the sentiment with StazOn. Stamp the flowers on a separate piece of paper and color it. Adhere it with 3d gluedots.

"Make your mark" is my favourite Ippitty stamp!!

Deze kaart is gemaakt met de stempelset "Make your mark". Stempel het kippengaas met versamark en emboss. Kleur de kaart met distress ink en de tekst met StazOn. Stempel de bloemen op een appart papier en kleur ze. Bevestig ze met 3d gluedots.

"Make your mark is mijn favoriete Ippity stempelset.!!

And because it's almost Christmas...I made a present for some special people. A box with 6 tealights. This box is made with the Ippity stamps Warm Wishes...and the new Distress ink colors from Ranger.

En omdat het bijna kerstmis is....heb ik een kado'tje gemaakt voor een paar speciale vrienden. Een box met 6 theelichtjes. Deze box is gemaakt met de Ippity stempels "Warm Wishes"en de nieuwe distress ink kleuren van Ranger.

When looking through blogs….it’s christmas everywhere you look!!! The same for me. I am busy making christmas cards for friends and family. For today I made a tag in christmas style. Stamp the images with Versamark and clear emboss. Color the tag with a light blue dye ink and the edges with a brown dye ink. Stamp a bigger image in the corner with Stazon brown. Do the same for the label. When finished, glue everything together and a new card for christmas is born.

Als ik kijkjes neem op andere blogs is het overal kerstmis wat je ziet!!! Bij mij hetzelfde. Ik ben druk met het maken van kerstkaarten voor vrienden en familie. Voor vandaag heb ik een tag gemaakt in kerststijl. Stempel de afbeeldingen met Versamark en clear emboss. Kleur de tag met een lichtblauwe dye ink en de randen met bruine dye ink. Stempel een groter afbeelding in de hoek met bruine Stazon. Doe hetzelfde met het label. Bevestig het label op de tag en een nieuwe kaart voor kerst is geboren.

Goodmorning all, for today I made a tag.

Punch the word ‘dream’ out of the tag. Stamp the flower with a light dye ink and clear emboss. Stamp the flower again with Stazon (also emboss with clear embossing powder) so it looks as if the lighter flower is the shadow. Color the whole tag with the light dye ink and the edges with a darker one.

Voor vandaag heb ik een tag gemaakt.

Stans het woord ‘dream’ uit de tag. Stempel de bloem met een lichte dye ink en clear emboss. Stempel de bloem opnieuw met stazon (emboss ook met clear embossing poeder), zodat het lijkt of de lichte bloem de schaduw is. Kleur de hele tag met de lichte kleur en de randen met een donkere kleur.

Spray pearl mist over the whole tag. Stamp the butterfly with StazOn, color it with a light blue dye ink and whiten a few parts of the wings with chlorine. Adhere the tag on brown cardstock and attach the lace. Make the wings of the butterfly round and attach it to the tag.

Spuit wat pearl mist over de gehele tag. Stempel de vlinder met StazOn, kleur het met een lichtblauwe dye inkt en maak een paar vlakjes van de vleugels wit met chloor. Bevestig de tag op bruin cardstock, bevestig het kant. Maak de vleugels van de vlinder rond en plaats het op de tag.

At the moment something else is going on.
My father died last Wednesday and the funeral is today

Goedemorgen, het is Maandag dus Katzelkraft dag.

Maar iets anders is aan de gang.
Mijn vader is afgelopen
Woensdag overleden en de crematie vindt vandaag plaats.

The card I made is especially for him; his last minutes ticked away.

I made this card with a medium and dye ink.

Deze kaart is speciaal voor hem gemaakt; zijn laatste minuten die wegtikken.

Ik heb het gemaakt met een medium en dye ink.

Rest in peace Daddy.

Rust in vrede Pa.

You must have discovered that my favorite stamps are the big flowers from Donna Downey after all the creations I’ve been showing here… but I have a new favorite now: the “blossom stackers” from Samantha Walker. I am totally crazy about these stamps.

Je hebt inmiddels genoeg van mij gezien om te weten dat mijn favoriete stempels de grote bloemen zijn van Donna Downey. Maar díe zijn van de troon gestoten door de “blossom stackers” van Samatha Walker. Ik ben helemaal weg van deze stempels.

Goodmorning Katzelkraft stamping lovers!!

Last Saturday I gave a workshop in a craftstore here in Holland.

It was wonderful,

I love to teach others to play with stamps, to make beautiful creations.

Goedemorgen Katzelkraft stempel liefhebbers,

Afgelopen zaterdag heb ik een workshop gegeven in een stempelwinkel in Holland.

Het was geweldig,

ik hou ervan om anderen te leren hoe je stempels kunt gebruiken, om iets moois te maken.

This one is my favorite! Mix some gesso with water and splash it on your tag.

After drying, color your tag with dye ink.

Dab a brown color dye ink on your craftsheet, spray water on it.

Pick up a few drops of brown on your tag to get that shabby effect.

Finish your card by stamping the image with black ink.

Deze tag was mijn favoriet van de workshop.

Mix wat gesso met water en spat het over je tag.

Na het drogen kleur je de tag met dye ink.

Neem een bruine kleur dye ink pad en druk het op je crafsheet, spuit er wat water op.

Neem een paar druppels bruin op je tag om een shabby effect te krijgen.

Maak je tag af door de stempels te plaatsen met zwarte inkt.

Dit was mijn laatste workshop bij de Craftorij. Ik heb er voor gekozen om in een designteam plaats te nemen en dat kan de Craftorij mij niet bieden. Jammer maar niets aan te doen en ik zal zeker klant blijven bij de Craftorij want het is een hele leuke winkel. Lia bedankt voor alles wat je me geboden hebt het afgelopen jaar, we hebben ontzettend veel lol gehad met het schoonmaken en schilderen van je nieuwe winkel, het uitzoeken van spullen voor workshops en het geven van workshops make and takes en alles wat we verder nog gedaan hebben. Je zult me nog vaak zien dat is zeker.

Nu dus over naar Scrapdelight in Nieuwegein.Michelle heeft me de mogelijkheid gegeven om in haar designteam plaats te nemen....leuk hoor en spannend want stempelen is nog niet zo bekend in deze winkel. Ondertussen staan er al wel drie workshops gepland.

It's been great!

I have finished one of these projects now.

For this project I used weddingpictures

from my daughter and her husband.

Ik heb net een van deze projekten klaar.

Voor dit projekt heb ik de trouwfoto's

van mijn dochter en haar man gebruikt.

It's a pretty book with lots of small thingies,

I like it,

although I'm not really a scrapper;

I'm rather a stamper!!

Het is een mooi boekje geworden met lieve kleine dingetjes erin.

Ik vind het mooi!!

Maar ik merk wel dat ik niet echt een scrapper ben,

Ik ben echt een stempelaar!!

Goedemorgen, het is maandag ...dus Katzelkraftmaandag!!

For today I made a real autumn card…the weather is rough here…wind, rain, falling leaves…This card is perfect for this weather. I made four holes in the card, color it with ink and stamp a few flowers on it. The four punch out’s I stamp with a leave in several colors.

Voor vandaag heb ik eenheuse herfstkaart gemaakt…het weer is ruig, wind, regen vallende bladeren… Deze kaart is perfect voor dit weer. Ik heb vier gaten gemaakt in de kaart, kleur het met inkt en stempel er wat bloemen op. Op de vier uit gestanste papiertjes zijn bladeren gestempeld in verschillende kleuren.
